First Lady Sheron Dundas

Elder Sheron Dundas is a native of Guyana South America, who has spent twenty years serving the Lord and stands daily beside her husband, Pastor Leslie Dundas of Soul Winner Christian Center. She is the proud mother of Crystal and Isaiah who also serve in the ministry.

As a young girl, Sheron grew up with my grandmother Clarice who instilled great values and teaching of the Bible stories which were the building blocks of the Christian belief. Most of her childhood was filled with loving experiences and anecdotes of her late grandmother and her, Clarice. Clarice would create unbelievable moments which she cherishes today. Her grandmother has aided to molding her as a daughter, mother, sister and most importantly, a child of God. She is eternally grateful for her Christian guidance at such an early age.

Sheron reminisces about her life as a teenager, she relives her matriarchal (mother and grandmother) parenting style (mother and grandmother combo) which has made her the person she is today. She cannot stop praising them both for the moral life example they presented to her to emulate. As strong believers in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, they taught her to accept her life as a blessing, and that only with God, all things are possible. Thus, she strove every day to be a virtuous woman, and to yield to God in every area of her life.

The road to Sheron’s spiritual walk was not an easy road. She’s been through many hurdles, but she has seen the hand of God move tremendously in her life. In her Christian journey, she believes that every trial brings triumph; every disappointment leads to an appointment and that God will continue to give her the unction to function. Her transformation to completeness is still a work in progress, a job she undertakes with your support, her drive to be the true leader of God’s people because she believes that her whole Christian walk is encapsulated in this scripture that she has embraced at a young age:

“Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Act 4:12).

Sheron enjoys serving Gods’ people in various ministries within the church: The usher Dept., Young adult and Adolescents Sunday school, new converts’ classes, Bible study and Choir Director. However, this is not limited to the various outreach programs she loves to support and promote including the Women’s Shelters, The Mentorship program for the inmate at the GMDC RNDC, Ryker Island Correction Facility Center all with the purpose of instilling the virtues honesty and responsibility in the lives of these prodigal sons and daughters whom God wants to be saved. She is the commitment to doing God’s will in these correctional facilities that her role as a spiritual leader taking care of His flock, has been beneficial.

She dedicates much of her spiritual enlightenment, teaching development and knowledge to her Heavenly Father, Maker of the universe, to her husband, Pastor Leslie, Senior Pastor of Soul Winner Christian Center, for answering the call many years ago, to serve the Lord in spirit and in truth. With him, she is complete; she is made whole; she can follow his great teaching.

Sheron wishes to sincerely acknowledge and thank all of those who mentored her, spoke into her life, offered every prayer that brought her to this elevation in her personal development and spiritual journey thus far. To God be the glory; great things He has done.
